Why choose Your ACT?

Here at Your ACT  we are drawing from over 15 years of experience in the business and focusing on delivering a reliable service that both our clients and our artists can rely on.

Although a relatively new company, Your ACT is no stranger to the entertainment business, and is going from strength to strength based on its honest, fresh, new approach to the entertainment agency business.

Your ACT director Andy Pemberton  has enjoyed 15 years of invaluable experience working as both a professional music recording artist with his band Journey South, and as an entertainment agent with his first company J.S Entertainments. (You can read all about Andy's story and how he came to set up Your ACT by clicking on his name above, and you can click on the Journey South link to read about their achievements and an amazing journey.)

Over the years, we have forged fantastic relationships with many UK venues/promoters and corporate clients, and have gained a huge amount of contacts with various celebrity artists and managers. Andy is a well known and trusted name in this business. Known widely for his hard working, honest and approachable attitude, Andy has learned a great deal from both sides of his profession - as an artist and the agent.

Our main focus is COMMUNICATION, as without this we know big problems can occur. At Your ACT we make sure that any vital information is filtered through to the artist and client to make sure there are no surprises on the night, and to manage the logistics efficiently until our obligation is fulfilled.

Artists at Your ACT are given full details prior to performance and details are checked and double checked to make sure everything is in place and nothing left to chance. Lack of proper COMMUNICATION can lead to artists turning up at venues where the client has no knowledge of certain technical or rider requirements - discrepancies in performance details between artist and client, including times and length of performances - utter frustration from clients that they could not get the required information from their current agent - and neither the artist nor the client are to blame. Infact poor communication can have serious implications on both the artists and the clients relationship, making for a bad atmosphere and of course a poor performance and unsatisfied customers.
